The narrative power of clothing is really felt only when the wearer is the protagonist. forte_forte aims to dissolve the distance between clothes and the person, putting emotions and sensations in the center. Emotional authenticity is the character that defines the project, which arose from the fraternal bond between Giada and Paolo Forte.
The foundation:
“We started in 2002, Giada and I, knowing that an adventure was about to begin. the studio, composed of a couple of rooms in our mother’s house, overlooked the garden where we grew up as children. the garage became the shipping office. this vision originated from passion: at first there was no industrial planning, but the desire to create something purely personal, like us. Often, the house house housed a stream of curious friends and family who always sniffed around and were willing to lend a hand.”
The story began with a small collection of hand-finished T-shirts. grown up in the fashion business, the forte brothers come from Veneto, one of the manufacturing districts in which made in italy has taken its form and identity over the years, turning the artisan process into an industrial one and keeping intact its values and peculiarities. Giada and Paolo have absorbed this spirit since childhood, in the family’s knit factories. Giada trained at Nottingham Trent University, where he studied knitwear design, while Paolo studied finance.
After autonomous experiences in their respective fields, they decided to join forces in a project based on the values in which they believe: the beauty of creativity as an unfiltered link between the creator and the consumer. Giada is in charge of design, Paolo is the business strater. Robert Vattilana, art director and life partner of Giada, is the third member of the group: the one that translates visions and sensations into images and spaces, or graphic and editorial choices.
forte_forte is the offspring of the joint efforts of the three: the name of the family is duplicated, baptizing the mark with an incitement that is already an expression of strength.

The headquarters is no longer located in the family home, but in a complex of industrial buildings where efficiency and domestic spirit coexist.
